This product is a lacquered three-layer box with a hand-painted plum blossoms design. Sea shells are used in a part of the decoration. In Japan, this kind of multi-layer box is used to serve special dishes called “osechi” for New Year's celebration. It is also used as a family-sized lunch box for outdoor events such as picnics and athletic meets. For cleaning, please wash it by hand with warm water and a soft sponge or a cloth. Please avoid soaking it in water for a long time. Dish soap can be used to remove oily stains. Please wipe and dry it well before storing.
