Forest Jig by Ellie Curtis was developed as a design full of rhythm and energy, drawing inspiration from swing dancing, botanical gardens and an ancient Egyptian wall painting rich in foliage. Printed in turquoise, ochre and deep red on oyster linen union, the design retains the character of the original drawing. Part of the St Jude’s collection of artist-designed fabrics, Forest Jig brings these varied influences together in a lively decorative repeat of foliage and flowing forms.
