Intrepid Geo 2.5 Pro Tent + Mount Bundle You bought the bigger tent for about twenty nights a year. It lives on your roof for the other three hundred and forty. The Geo 2.5 Pro is worth the roof space when you’re out. The problem was never the tent. It’s everything the other three hundred days cost you — the mileage, the parking deck you route around, the garage you stopped pulling into, and the theft you think about at every trailhead. The tent ships with four basic brackets of its own that bolt it to your crossbars and keep it there. Pick the upgrade you want fitted in their place. The mounts are on us either way. Both arrive — the tent’s own brackets stay in the box as spares. The tent itself is at Intrepid’s list price; the mounts are the part you would normally pay for. Two ways to upgrade — pick one above Slipstream quick-release (4) — replaces all four basic brackets. The tent comes off in about three minutes. Solo, no tools, after a one-time alignment on the first install. Pick this if the tent should come down often. Garage on Sunday night, back on the roof Friday afternoon. Gatekeeper locks (2) — replaces two diagonal corners and reuses two of the tent’s basic mounts. Locks the tent to your rack. Bolt-cutter protection on the spacer assembly, and removal needs the key. Pick this if the tent mostly stays up and theft is the thing you actually think about. This is not a quick-release setup — taking the tent down is a normal mount removal plus the key. Want all four corners locked? Buy two more Gatekeepers separately — some owners do. Two is what the bundle includes. What’s in this bundle Intrepid Geo 2.5 Pro rooftop tent (1) — Black, Camo, or Coyote Brown, chosen above. Full specifications below. Your chosen mount upgrade — Option B, the fit for Intrepid’s Geo tents, so there is no fitment to work out. How it installs The mounts fit between the tent and your crossbars. You set the alignment once, on the first install. After that, the Slipstream path is a drop-and-drive. The Gatekeeper path stays put until you bring the key. Who it’s for Geo 2.5 Pro owners who want the roof back Monday through Friday, and owners who leave the tent up but would rather not gamble on a parking lot. Those are different people, which is why there are two options instead of one compromise. Why buy the bundle here Same tent, same retail price you’d pay buying it direct. Buy it through tentmount.com and the mount upgrade is on us. Bundles ship with the Slipstream 4-Pack or two Gatekeepers. Need the Slipstream 6-Pack instead? Email sales@starksidegear.com and we’ll sort it.
