Jonas Wood: White Flower with Grid

Jonas Wood’s White Flower with Grid (2024) is a limited-edition screen print published by Counter Editions. Printed in sixteen colors, the floral still-life depicts a white orchid in bloom isolated against a black gridded background. The chosen motif functions as a vehicle for experimentation with color and pattern, as well as reflects the climate and cultural identity of the artist’s native Los Angeles. The print was created for the publisher’s Choose Love series, and fifty percent of the net proceeds from each sale will be donated to the UK-based charity to supply vital support to refugees and displaced people worldwide.
