Bars in Residence

Five cities. Five bars. Five nights. 1-5 November 2026 There are plenty of ways to get to know a city. Sitting at its bars is a pretty good place to start. Every city has its own customs: what it drinks, what it eats alongside it, what it listens to and how it gathers after dark. This November, we’re bringing a little of that to Athens. For five nights during Athens Bar Week, Okupa Kitchen & Listening Bar welcomes five independent bars from Paris, Liverpool, Ibiza, Edinburgh and Bucharest, each taking over the bar for one evening. Each visiting team brings a little of its city with it. Expect cocktails made their way, music that offers another glimpse into where they’re coming from and some special off-menu items for your taste buds.
