Thern Liberty Portable Electric Capstan WinchThe Thern Liberty Series portable capstan winch brings powered lifting, pulling and tensioning to wherever the job is. This is the 230 volt model 3CP1S-BFS with integral swivel base, foot switch control and rope lock, rated to 450 kg (1,000 lb). The premium motor runs at around 80 dBA, quiet enough for the crew to talk over, and the maintenance free planetary gearbox keeps it working year after year with no servicing schedule.The swivel base adjusts in 15 degree increments and locks with a swivel stop, so the winch rotates to line up with the load instead of the load lining up with the winch. Paired with the optional hitch mount, you position the vehicle once, rotate the winch to the load and lock it down. It is built for elevator shaft work, cell tower construction, pole setting, stringing lines and wind turbine maintenance, and for any crew that needs real pulling power in a unit one person can carry.The sealed foot switch keeps both hands free for rope handling, the integral rope lock prevents unintentional lowering of the load, and the spring loaded rope keep stops the hand line coming off the drum while doubling as a carry handle.
