Olivia and the violin / Olivia y el violín

Olivia wants to play the violin. She wants the music to emerge from her strings, wrap her around and reach her heart. Olivia wants to fly with its sound; wants to dream and play with it. But the violin sleeps. Sometimes it complains; snores or coughs. Olivia insists, again and again, day and night. Until at last, the violin begins to dance in her arms. It vibrates and sings. Between the two, after patience and lots of practice, they invent a new time.
