This simple and elegant curving symbol is know by many names, but lately it has been used to represent the spectrum of how peoples brains are different, also known as "Nuerodiversity." When I found out that the Autism spectrum community has been using gold as their color due to its periodic symbol being (Au) I knew I had to make a ring to combine the two and also add my own filigree flair. My kids and I are very proud to be a part of the nuerodiverse community and even though it makes small talk, repetitive noises, and itchy clothes unbearable. I couldn’t do what I do without the unique brain that I have, with its insane attention to detail and insatiable desire to evolve.
