Vintage Art Deco Ewer Jug, Falcon Ware by JH Weatherby

Very striking Art Deco design ewer jug by British potteries, JH Weatherby One of their earliest domestic wares, this is a sleek angular Deco style with pale blue to pale pink ombre glaze, contrasted with a buttercup yellow interior colour. Given it's age, I'm not sure I'd recommend using it for it's original purpose, but it would be perfect for decor or an unusual flower vase. Stamped number 82 on the base. J.H. Weatherby &Sons (Ltd.), manufactured earthenwares at the Falcon Pottery, Hanley, in the heart of the Staffordshire Potteries, England, from 1891 to 2000. Height= 19 cm Max length including handle= 15 cm (approx) Base diameter= 9 cm In excellent vintage condition- no chips, cracks, and there's no sign of any crazing. Couple of pale blue speckles on the pink where the blue obviously dripped when it was being made, but this is original to the piece (see pics)
