1990s David Nieper Candy Pink Silk Satin Maxi Slip

David Nieper (1931-2021) was a luxury womenswear designer whose namesake shop remains in Derbyshire, England. This pretty slip was made in the 1990s and is tailored from a pale-pink silk satin which is weighty and smooth to the touch. It has a column silhouette with a kick-flare to the bottom of the skirt and is trimmed with candy-pink lace around the bust and top of the back. The lace is adorned with 3D pink satin roses for a final romantic flourish. The double spaghetti straps are crafted from pale-pink satin. The slip is unlined.
