Triple Pleat Café Curtains — Brent Linen Blend, Triple Fullness, Custom Size, 10 Colours

TRIPLE PLEATS AT TRIPLE FULLNESS, HAND-SET ON A HALF-HEIGHT PANEL Most café curtains sold online are a flat hem gathered onto a rod, cut to a stock length and left to bunch wherever it lands. This one is a triple pleat panel made at triple fullness. Each pleat is three folds, pinched and hand-set across the heading at a spacing we work out for your width — so the folds stay even from end to end and the panel hangs in a column instead of a ruffle. Triple fullness means three inches of cloth for every finished inch on the rod. That is what keeps the folds deep and standing upright along the whole panel, instead of flattening out between the pleats the way a thinner curtain does. It costs more cloth, and it is the difference you see from across the room. A café curtain — also called a half window curtain or tier curtain — dresses only the lower sash, so the top of the glass keeps giving you daylight while the bottom gives you cover. It is cut after you order, to your window, within a quarter of an inch. Brent is a loose, airy linen-blend weave, and a short panel is where it shows best. Sewn in our own Toronto workroom by a textile engineer with 20+ years at the bench. Ships in 10 days or less, free across North America. — — — WHAT YOU RECEIVE One café curtain panel in Brent linen-blend sheer, cut and sewn to your measurements Triple pleats — three folds to a pleat — hand-set across the heading, spaced to your ordered width Triple fullness: three inches of cloth for every finished inch on the rod Pleat hooks fitted, ready for rings or a traverse rod Double side hems and a weighted double bottom hem so the panel hangs straight Your choice of unlined, sheer lining or privacy lining Sewing precision to 1/4″ Any size from 12″ to 65″ wide and up to 50″ long — no upcharge for a custom size Price is per panel. The linen and cotton carry the slub and the warm, irregular texture you want in a natural cloth; the small polyester content is what keeps a pleated panel hanging straight instead of relaxing out of shape over a season. It filters daylight into a soft glow rather than blocking it. Roll width 116″ Weight 0.69 lb per yard Flame rating CAL 117/SE No vertical or horizontal repeat — the weave runs plain both ways, so colour matches cleanly panel to panel Washable: machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle Ten colours: Brent Candle, Brent Mushroom, Brent Almond, Brent Frozen, Brent Moss, Brent Abyss, Brent Violet, Brent Castle, Brent Horizon and Brent Elephant — from the palest cream through warm beiges and a soft sage to a deep taupe. Pick your colour on this page. Screen colour is a guide, not a match — order swatches first to see the linen in your own light. — — — TWO WAYS TO ORDER IT Unlined. The cloth on its own. Most light, most texture, and the weave reads as a soft haze from inside. Shapes are visible from outside after dark when the room is lit — this is a light-filtering sheer, not a privacy panel. Sheer lining. A second light layer behind the face cloth. Keeps the airy look, adds body so the pleats sit crisper, and evens out the colour against bright glass. Privacy lining. An opaque backing for real daytime privacy at eye level while the top half of the window stays open to the light. Same price as sheer lining. We do not offer blackout on Brent — a dark backing cancels the translucency that makes this cloth worth having. — — — HOW TO MEASURE — THE SHORT VERSION 1. WIDTH + LINING: hanging on rings? Install the rod and rings first, then measure your rod end to end, not counting the finials. That is the number you pick in the "Size" menu — the same menu where you choose Unlined, Sheer lining or Privacy lining. That width is what the panel covers once the pleats are on the rod. We build the triple fullness in for you, so don't multiply anything. Want two panels that meet in the middle? Measure your rod, divide by two, and order two panels at that size. A 50″ rod is two panels at 25″ each. The menu always means one panel, not the whole window. 2. LENGTH: measure from the bottom of the rings down to where the panel should stop — usually the sill, sometimes an inch or two below the apron. Put that number in the note with your order and we cut to it. Inside mount: width inside the window opening, edge to edge. Outside mount: the full rod width. Diagrams for both are in the photos. The cloth is cut to your numbers, the pleats are spaced for your width, and the panel ships in 10 days or less — against the 6–8 weeks that is normal for custom window treatments. Brackets, screws and instructions travel with any hardware you add. Custom panels aren't returnable, so we de-risk the order instead: swatches before you buy with the cost credited back, every dimension confirmed with you in writing before cutting, and anything wrong on our side remade at our expense. — — — CARE Brent is a washable cloth: machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, mild drying, do not bleach, iron low at a maximum of 110°C. It can also be dry cleaned — perchloroethylene, gentle cycle. On a pleated panel we still recommend dry cleaning. Hand-set triple pleats are pressed, and pressing is what holds them — a wash cycle relaxes them and they will need re-pressing afterwards. Unlined panels: washable at 30°C at your own risk; dry cleaning highly recommended. Lined panels (sheer or privacy lining): Dry cleaning highly recommended. — — — Odd window? Angled sill, a radiator in the way, a door that needs clearing — send me the photo and the numbers and I'll tell you honestly whether a café panel is the right answer. I check every order myself before it ships. — Natalya, LOGANOVA Shades, Toronto
