2024 Benjamin Leroux Gevrey-Chambertin

Low yields in 2024 led Benjamin Leroux to bring almost all his Gevrey parcels together, including fruit from Premier Cru Champeaux and Grand Cru Charmes-Chambertin, with only Cazetiers bottled separately. The village parcels span the northern end of the commune, from below the town to the elevated, rocky slopes toward Brochon. The result is a Gevrey of exceptional pedigree and composure. Refined fruit is shaped by fine, powdery tannins, with beautiful structure and a quiet mineral authority. Classy, precise and deeply expressive, it offers remarkable quality for a village-level Burgundy.
