In this 3-hour hands-on class, you’ll learn how to fill, frost, and decorate a two-layer vintage Lambeth-style cake. Guided step by step, you’ll work with buttercream to create classic Lambeth elements such as ornate borders, scrolls, and elegant piping details that define this timeless cake style. This class is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike who want to explore traditional techniques while creating a beautifully finished cake. All supplies are provided, and each participant will leave with their own fully decorated cake to take home. Come ready to pipe, swirl, and create a show-stopping vintage cake from start to finish. Ages 14+ NY Cake Academy classes are held in our Manhattan flagship at 118 W 22nd St. All supplies and materials included, but if you require any special accomodations please don't hesitate to contact us at custom@nycakeacademy.com. Our classes are hands-on, interactive experiences. So, please dress accordingly. We recommend wearing casual clothing that you won’t mind getting a little sugar on, and flat comfortable shoes. Open toed shoes and sandals are not recommended as this is a safety concern when working within a kitchen. Long hair should be tied back.
