Kākahu Box

A purpose-built archival box for storing kākahu, piupiu, and any other garments and textiles that require long, narrow storage. Designed with the specific proportions for Kākahu in mind, the Kākahu Box is available in three sizes: Small (890mm), Medium (1040mm), and Large (1195mm) all with a 220 x 220mm profile and a 100mm lid. Made from 3.1mm Fluted Conservation Board that is acid-free, lignin-free, FSC® certified, and passes the Photographic Activity Test (P.A.T.). The base is rivet-fastened for durability and boxes are supplied flat-packed for easy shipping, ready to assemble with a Bone Folder.
