60mm ID Shot/Stone Sifter Set 1.5mm to 3.0mm

Shot/Stone/Misc Sifter Set — 7 Sizes / 9 Pieces New Larger. Faster. More accurate. And designed specifically for shot and stone sorting artists actually need. This new and improved Shot Sifter Set makes sorting shot ball, stones and other faster and easier—especially in the hard-to-find 1.50 to 3.0 range. (1.5mm, 1.75mm, 2.0mm, 2.25mm, 2.5mm, 2.75mm, 3.0mm) The complete 9-piece set includes 7 graduated sifter sizes, a bottom catch cup, and a top lid cup, so you can stack the entire set, add your balls or stones, and shake or vibrate them through multiple sizes at once. These stack ontop of your Granulation Sifters as well. Why I designed these: I wanted something better and and easier to use than diamond sifters. Each sifter plate has it’s own cup so no more doing it one at a time. These sifters were tested for hours and redesigned approximately 20 times to get them tuned just right. One of the challenges was creating a larger, sturdier cup with a thicker plate for the larger size. Each sifter has an approximately 60mm inner diameter, giving you more working area so stones/balls move through the plates faster. The cups are tapered so they nest and stack together, allowing you to sift through the entire graduated set rather than working through one sifter at a time. That means less sorting, less handling, and less time spent chasing the exact ball/stone size you need. More than just granulation Use them for: ● Shot balls ● Small stones ● Enamels ● Other tiny materials that need to be sorted The rust-proof sifting plates are permanently installed into the cups using a specialized industrial adhesive selected for this application. Do not press hard or attempt to remove the plate. If you do, you will break the seal of the glue. Shipping: Due to the size and construction of the set, this product must ship in a box. IMPORTANT NOTE: Handmade granules are not perfectly round no matter how you make them and may pass through a sifter differently depending on how they land. The technical variance can be up to .20mm which is the thickness of a piece of paper. A 2.86mm granule calipered one way may not pass through a 3.0 sifter because of the shape of the granule. The larger the shot ball the more inaccurate they become. The sifters are tested with precision manufactured shot/granules and calibrated gemstones to verify accurate sizing. When checking handmade granules, always caliper them in multiple directions and allow for slight variations on sizes. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
