Spring Fever

Spring Fever

Brand: cf&co Private Collection

A Classic Carrie serigraph, long since sold out. A cowboy in red and a woman in gold meet in an unguarded kiss, his hand at her back, her head tipped up to his. Carrie’s bold, sweeping strokes give the moment its heat, and the serigraph process carries that energy through in rich layers of hand-pulled color: crimson, cobalt, saffron, and deep indigo. It’s romance, Western-style, and one of the rare chances to bring home an edition that’s no longer available from the studio. Created using the traditional method of serigraphy (also known as silk-screening), which refers to an image printed using ink and stencils. Artists make serigraphs by placing a stencil on the medium and then applying ink to the areas not covered by the stencil - requiring layer-upon-layer screening to replicate a color or detail in the original piece of art. In the case of "Spring Fever," 31 colors had to be meticulously incorporated into this beautiful screening process to deliver the same results as if Carrie painted each one itself. This glorious sold out edition comes home to NXT by Carrie Fell. Don't miss this opportunity to add a piece of Carrie's classic composition to your fine art collection. To inquire, click here.
