Portal Gear Kit for Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon

Increase your JK Rubicon’s drivetrain capability on technical trails, ledges, deep ruts, and larger-tire setups with clearance and gear reduction delivered directly at the wheel. The Turn Offroad Portal Gear Kit is designed specifically for 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon models, including both 2-door and 4-door Unlimited configurations. The system adds 4.75 inches of hub-level ground clearance while providing 25% gear reduction to improve usable gearing and torque delivery with larger tires. Clear rocks, ruts, and trail obstacles with more room under the axle because the portal boxes provide 4.75 inches of ground clearance at the hub instead of relying only on additional suspension height. Maintain stronger low-speed control with larger tires through 25% portal gear reduction that multiplies torque at the wheel and offsets the gearing change created by increased tire diameter. Keep the factory differential gearing in place by placing the reduction inside the portal assemblies at each wheel rather than requiring a differential gear change. Retain the factory functions you depend on with a Rubicon-specific system designed to maintain OEM ABS and parking brake functionality. Support repeated off-road use with serviceable, durable components through a four-gear portal design using CNC-machined 7075 aluminum housings, hardened 8620 steel gears, a 16.9-ounce oil capacity, and accessible drain and fill points. The JK Rubicon portal assemblies use straight-cut 8620 hardened steel gears inside CNC-machined 7075 aluminum housings, along with a four-gear architecture and 16.9-ounce oil capacity. The system is engineered specifically around the 2007–2018 JK Rubicon platform and fits both 2-door and 4-door models. Each kit is supplied as a complete system with the components required for installation while retaining factory ABS and parking brake operation.
