Citrus 'Lemonicious'

Citrus 'Lemonicious' Lemonicious™ is a compact-growing lemon ideal for smaller gardens, courtyards and pots. It features attractive evergreen foliage and fragrant white flowers, followed by full-sized, juicy lemons. Naturally growing into a neat, bushy shrub, Lemonicious™ offers all the benefits of a traditional lemon tree while remaining much more manageable in size. Its compact habit also makes it an excellent choice for growing in large pots on patios and entertaining areas. Position Plant in full sun for best growth, flowering and fruit production. Choose a warm, well-drained position with good air circulation. Lemonicious™ is also well suited to growing in a large pot in a sunny courtyard, patio or entertaining area. Growth A naturally compact and bushy lemon, typically growing to approximately 1–1.5m high and 1–1.5m wide. It produces fragrant white flowers followed by full-sized yellow lemons and maintains attractive evergreen foliage throughout the year. Planting Guide Plant into fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Dig a hole approximately twice the width of the root ball and plant at the same depth as it was growing in the pot. Backfill, water thoroughly and apply mulch around the root zone, keeping mulch away from the trunk. When growing in a pot, choose a large container with excellent drainage and use a premium-quality potting mix suitable for citrus. Plant Care Water regularly while establishing and maintain consistent moisture during flowering and fruit development, particularly during hot or dry weather. Avoid allowing the soil to remain waterlogged. Feed regularly during the growing season with a quality citrus fertiliser to encourage healthy growth and fruit production. Light pruning can be carried out as required to maintain its compact shape and remove any dead or damaged growth.
