Designed for children approximately 3–6 years old, depending on their stage of development, it uses stories, music and playful adventures to introduce movement skills in a developmentally appropriate way. The full PAAP programme provides a year's worth of activities across six units, each containing six themed activity cards. Activities combine adult guidance with child-centred exploration and provide opportunities to revisit and develop skills over time. They can be used within planned sessions and as part of wider movement provision. These six equipment kits have been put together to support the corresponding programme areas.
