Top Tips for the Homeschool Beginner | Coffee Chat

Starting homeschooling can feel like a lot... so many decisions, expectations, and unknowns. This short, conversational “coffee chat” is like sitting down with a trusted mentor who gently brings you back to what matters most. In this session, Paola—a veteran homeschooling mom of 25+ years—shares the essential foundations for starting (and sustaining) a peaceful, effective homeschool. Rooted in prayer and shaped by decades of experience, she walks through simple, practical steps that help you move forward with clarity and confidence. You’ll be encouraged to ground your days in prayer, set realistic yearly goals for each child, and lean into the support of other homeschoolers and local community. With a focus on doing less—but doing it well—Paola offers a refreshing vision of homeschooling that is both intentional and life-giving. Rather than overcomplicating your days, this conversation invites you to create a calm, focused learning environment where your children—and your family—can truly thrive.
