Zesty and refreshing, yet surprisingly delicate, Kanno is an homage to Yoko Kanno, who almost single-handedly dragged Western jazz and blues into the world of Japanese anime with her remarkable work for the series Cowboy Bebop. With notes of effervescently warm shiso leaf (a relative of mint that features heavily in Japanese cuisine), grapefruit, pink pepper, and geranium, Kanno is a spectacular twist on the classic Eau de Cologne structure, and, of all of the fragrances exhibited at the Maggard Razors Meetup in April 2026, rated highest by those who smelled it blind.
