Dan from Pecks woods has been doing some wonderful leather work for years. He is now making some rustic custom knives! All of his handle material is found and collected in upstate New York! Now this is quite the sheath and amazing leatherwork! This knife is started with the well know and great steel from a Lauri Carving 105mm High Carbon blade. The Handle is made from a Classic combination of Black Walnut and stacked leather with white and black G10 spacers and a brass bolster. Overall length of knife is 8 3/4" This one also comes with a ferro rod that is epoxied into a great shaped handle of whitetail antler and secured nicely by an elastic string. There is a multi-tool secured in the front pouch with any tool you may need! Scissors, saws, screwdrivers, a file, bottle opener and much more! Be prepared for anything. This rig is on the heftier side coming in at 1lb 10 0z but with the wide belt loop and thigh strap it is more than comfortable. In the back of the sheath, there is even a Hewlett double sided diamond sharpener med/fine This beautiful and well decorated Leather sheath is hand dyed, hand tooled and hand stitched. The sheath will accommodate a belt up to 2 1/4in. There is also a separate leather strap that will go around the thigh of most any adult to secure the entire sheath tightly to your leg.
