Fiat Panda 100HP – Launch Control
Fiat Panda 100HP launch control by Storm Engineering adds a clutch-operated launch function to the Bosch ME7.6.3 ECU. Developed in-house, this software holds the engine at 3,500 rpm when the launch conditions are met, while retaining normal free revving when the clutch is not pressed. How does Panda 100HP launch control work? The system activates only when all three conditions are met at the same time: The car is stationary. The clutch pedal is pressed down. The accelerator pedal is pressed down. With the car stopped, keep the clutch pressed and apply the accelerator. The engine is then held at the launch speed rather than continuing to climb through the rev range. Set to 3,500 rpm for standing starts The launch setting gives you a defined engine speed before moving off. When you release the clutch, launch control disengages and the engine can accelerate normally. It is a launch-specific limit, not a restriction that applies every time you press the accelerator. Can I still rev the engine normally? Yes. With the car stationary and the gearbox in neutral, leave the clutch pedal released and press the accelerator. The engine will rev normally rather than being held at 3,500 rpm. Simply being stationary does not activate the system. Both pedals must also be pressed. Likewise, pressing the pedals while the car is moving does not meet the stationary condition. Panda 100HP launch control compatibility Our Panda 100HP launch control is an ECU software feature developed by Storm Engineering for the Bosch ME7.6.3. The clutch-operated activation lets you choose between preparing for a launch and revving normally at a standstill through how you use the pedals. Already have a remap, or are you unsure which ECU is fitted? Contact Storm Engineering before ordering to confirm compatibility and discuss how the software will be applied to your ECU.
