Class: Felted Wreath Ornament (12/20)

Sunday, Dec 20th, (12pm-3pm). Reservation required. Join instructor Nichole Heady to beginner-friendly kit will introduce you to the art of two-dimensional needle felting, also referred to as wool painting. You’ll be guided, step by step, as you poke colorful bits of wool into a sheet of linen fabric to create a lovely work of art that even comes with its own hoop for display as an ornament. Finish it with the festive red velvet ribbon included for hanging. A great way to spend an afternoon getting into the holiday spirit with a friend! Once this 3-hour class is completed, you will have all the necessary skills and be well on your way to completing your own Felted Wreath Ornament to be used as a tree ornament or festive holiday decor. Skills you will learn: Overview of wool painting with lots of tips and tricks Preparing and dividing the wool roving Technique for felting the wreath leaves onto the linen fabric Creating the round berries and how to apply them Finishing and adding loop Materials: The class includes three hours of instruction.
