OXVA Xlim Pro 4 Pod Vape Kit
The OXVA Xlim Pro 4 is a refillable pod kit with anti-burn pods, an 1800mAh battery, 5 to 30W of adjustable power and a 0.98 inch colour screen. It is also called the Xlim Pro 4 or just the OXVA Pro 4, and some shops list it as the Xlim 4 Pro. It follows the Xlim Pro 3 and fires when you draw or press the button. The UK kit is the TPD version, so both pods in the box hold 2ml: an ABT 0.6Ω pod fitted in the device and a spare ABT 0.8Ω pod. E-liquid is bought separately. The OXVA Xlim Pro 4 is coming soon to Grey Haze. Use the email sign-up on this page and we will let you know when it lands. Key features Draw to vape, or press the fire button 5 to 30W adjustable output 1800mAh battery, 20% more than the Xlim Pro 3 USB-C charging at 5V/3A 0.98 inch colour screen with a puff count and charging countdown Anti-burn when you use ABT pods Vertical airflow slider 10 colours How does the Xlim Pro 4 anti-burn work? When the e-liquid in an ABT pod runs low, the Xlim Pro 4 stops firing and shows "Please Fill The Pod" on the screen. OXVA calls this ABT, short for Anti-Burn Tech, and says it cuts output before the coil runs dry. It needs both halves: the Pro 4 and an XLIM ABT cartridge. You can spot an ABT pod by the four contacts on its base, the ABT mark and a red ring at the mouthpiece. A standard pod vapes as normal, without the protection. With an ABT pod fitted, 8 presses of the fire button turn anti-burn off or back on. Honestly, this is the reason to pick the Pro 4 over the other Xlims. Anyone who has taken a puff from a pod run past empty will get it. Which pods fit the Xlim Pro 4? The Xlim Pro 4 takes three OXVA pods, all top fill and all made in 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2Ω. Only the ABT pods turn on anti-burn. OXVA pod Anti-burn on the Pro 4 XLIM ABT Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 Yes XLIM Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0 No, vapes as normal XLIM Top Fill Cartridge (sold in the UK as Xlim V3) No, vapes as normal Our Xlim replacement pods 3-pack is the OXVA product we sell most, by a wide margin, over the last 180 days, so plenty of Xlim owners already have spares. For the Pro 4, pick one of its V3 top-fill options. The V2 pods are not on OXVA's list. ABT replacement pods are listed as the Xlim ABT UniTech 3.0 pods. OXVA says an ABT pod typically lasts around 2 to 3 weeks. Our guide on how often to change vape coils covers the signs that one is done. Is 0.6 or 0.8 ohm better on the Xlim Pro 4? The 0.8Ω pod gives the tighter mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw at 12 to 16W, and the 0.6Ω pod is looser at 20 to 25W. Both are in the box, so try each before you buy more. If you are used to disposables, start on the 0.8Ω. Resistance OXVA wattage, draw style 0.4Ω 26-30W, RDL 0.6Ω 20-25W, RDL or MTL 0.8Ω 12-16W, MTL 1.2Ω 10-12W, MTL OXVA lists the 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω pods for nic salts, and the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods for nic salts or freebase. Our guide to MTL vapes explains the draw styles. How do you use the Xlim Pro 4? Press the fire button 5 times to turn it on or off. Fill the pod from the top, refit it and wait 30 seconds before the first puff. Draw, or press the fire button, to vape. Puffs stop at 8 seconds. Press 3 times within 2 seconds to change the wattage. Press 4 times to lock the fire button, and 4 times again to release it. Press twice for the menu, where you can reset the puff count or change the theme and lighting. Move the airflow slider to tighten or open the draw. How long does the Xlim Pro 4 take to charge? About 40 minutes to full, by OXVA's figure, with a 5V/3A adapter. Only a Type-C cable comes in the box, so an older phone plug will take longer. We haven't seen a battery life in hours or puffs from OXVA, and we haven't had one in hand to time it. What do the Xlim Pro 4 screen messages mean? OXVA's manual lists six: Low Battery means it needs charging. No Pod means the kit can't detect a pod. Short Circuit means it has found a short and won't fire. Timeout means a puff ran past 8 seconds. High Temp means the circuit board is too hot, so let it cool. Please Fill The Pod is anti-burn telling you the ABT pod is low. How is the Xlim Pro 4 different from the Xlim 4 and Pro 3? The Xlim 4 is the simpler kit. It is inhale only, with three set power levels, a ring light instead of a screen and a 1600mAh battery on 5V/2A charging. Its single 0.8Ω pod is not an ABT pod, and at 78.1g it is lighter than the Pro 4's 89g. Against the Xlim Pro 3, the Pro 4 has 1800mAh rather than 1500mAh, charges at 5V/3A rather than 5V/2A, and ships with ABT pods. So far it is the only OXVA kit that runs ABT anti-burn. Three of our ten best-selling vape kits over the last 90 days are Xlims: the Xlim Go Lite, Xlim Pro 3 and Xlim 3 Ultra. If you like the Pro 3 and want anti-burn and a bigger battery, the Pro 4 is the step up. If you just want to draw and go, get the Xlim 4. What colours does the Xlim Pro 4 come in? There are 10. Five are Flowing finishes (Dark Blue, Moonlight, Midnight, Ice Blue and Rose Pink), two are Stardust (Blue and Purple), two are leather (Cocoa Black and Glacier Grey) and one is Black Carbon. Stock will vary by colour, so check the colour selector. What are the downsides of the Xlim Pro 4? We don't have a price or a stock date yet. Anti-burn needs ABT pods, so old V3 pods fit but get no protection. The full 30W needs a 0.4Ω pod, and that isn't in the box. Some shops say the wattage moves in 1W steps. OXVA doesn't say so, and we won't either until we have tried one.
