Cryptocentrus leptocephalus: Aquarist Experience Level: Beginner Average Mature Size: 6 inches Minimum Tank Size: 40 gallons Temperament: Peaceful Reef Compatibility: Yes Aquarium Hardiness: High Temperature: 74–80°F Description: The Pink Spotted Watchman goby displays a distinctive yellow to tan coloration adorned with pink spots encircled by smaller blue spots. This species thrives in aquariums of 30 gallons or larger featuring loose coral rubble, ample swimming space, and a sand substrate for natural burrowing behavior. While generally peaceful toward other fish species, it exhibits territorial aggression toward its own kind unless paired with a mate. Due to its jumping tendencies, a secure, tight-fitting lid is essential for this species' safety and containment.
