A hidden gem of a goat's milk cheese from Burgundy in France. Vezelay is a gorgeous little mount of cheese is made from pure raw goats’ milk by only a handful of farmers. The shape is a tribute to the famous hill of Vezelay, one of the major starting points for the pilgrims on the Way of St. James to Santiago de Compostela. The paste is smooth, mousse-y and mouthcoating with a very elegant milky flavour. The rippled skin adds a decorative touch and a mushroomy note to the taste.
