Muse Pinot gris 2025

Showing a slight blush in the glass this is an aromatic and inviting Pinot Gris. Ginger, white flowers and ripe fruit—nashi pear, passionfruit and a hint of musk on the nose. The palate follows through with pear, kiwi and pineapple, edged by grapefruit rind and orange blossom. Luscious yet balanced, with a soft acid line, gentle minerality and a delicate, well-integrated oak finish. Aromas of poached pear, grapefruit and custard apple. Hints of cream, meadow flowers, rose petals, crushed stone, almond paste and citrus pith. Slinky and textural, with some red fruits sliding in on the palate and a saline drivetrain pushing proceedings along. –Dave Brookes
