6/20, Illusion Plate Class

Date: Saturday, June 20th ; 10-12:30 pm Glass Cutting Experience is very helpful Amaze your friends with this 11” optical illusion on a personalized serving plate, bowl or hanging for the wall. Nobody will be able to figure out how you created this gem. While it looks difficult, it is not. Purchase a square foot of glass with some type of movement and color contrast on it. The way the glass is cut gives you the illusion. We will fire it twice, and you can pick it up within approximately 1 week. Cost includes scrap, use of molds and 2 kiln firings. You will need to purchase 1 sf of glass. Bring: glasses and glass-cutting tools, if you have them. No shorts or open-toed shoes. Teacher: Ruth Hintze
