Likely dating to the early to mid 20th century, the print depicts a richly detailed architectural and religious scene in Antwerp, with Gothic arches, stone stairways and sculptural figures surrounding a calvary. The fine etched lines and atmospheric shadows give the piece a wonderfully moody character, while the restrained dark frame and textured mount allow the artwork itself to remain the focus.
