After six months of samples, testing and refinement, Passerine has launched its own made-to-order jute collection! Often called the "golden fiber," jute is a sustainable, plant-based material renowned for its durability and soft, waxy sheen. Unlike other natural fibers that can feel scratchy, jute is surprisingly gentle underfoot, making it an excellent choice for bedrooms and living areas. Passerine's looped knot rug is the chunkiest of our made-to-order Jute styles. Featuring a three-quarter-inch thick construction and a rustic multi-inch fringe, this rug brings textural interest to any room.
