Inspired by the vintage brass bamboo trays that have long been collected for their warm tone and decorative detail, the Bamboo Charger Plate translates that language to the table. The form is octagonal - an eight-sided silhouette that sits distinctively beneath a dinner plate - with a raised bamboo-jointed rim cast in polished brass. The brushed centre contrasts with the bright rim, giving the plate depth and warmth that catches candlelight particularly well. Brass brings something to a table that gold plate and chrome never quite replicate - a richness that works equally with antique china, white porcelain and linen. 30cm diameter (12 inches).
