New Old Stock 1960s PREMIER Razor Steel made in Solingen Germany HAND ground 8" high carbon steel butchers knife. These beautiful high quality pieces of cutlery have been in long term warehouse storage since the 1960s. They were packed in wooden crates and wrapped in paper, because of this careful storage these knives are in excellent condition . The handles do have the occasional small nick or ding but the blades are like the day they were made .The handles are nearly perfect too... amazing for 60+ years of storage. The 8" blade is finely hand ground high carbon steel . The handle is super smooth and highly polished and feels good in the hand. It features a 3/4 tang design with three pins to keep the blade secure during a lifetime of use. Most knives do not have the sticker ( as shown ) left on the handle " HIGH CARBON STEEL" , they have mostly fallen off and were are in the bottom of the crate. A beautifully made high quality vintage knife ! Measures approximately 13-1/2" overall including the handle.
