World Riichi League 2026 - May Major - ONLINE

When: May 23-24, 1:30PM - 6:00PM CT (Central Time) Where: Online through RonRon Can't make our in-person World Riichi League events? No problem! Join us for our May World Riichi League 2026 majors online through RonRon. Your entry includes 2 days (8 hanchan) of high level competitive play using WRC rules. This event is for US based players only. Registration for this event will close on May 10th. The format of this tournament is different from in-person events. Each day will begin with a registration/verification performed by tournament directors Laura King and Edwin Dizon. Then 4 hanchans will be played back to back with no lunch break in between. Players are free to take breaks between hanchans after completing their games. To play in this event, you will need to join the WRC Discord and create your own RonRon account. Instructions on how to create an account can be found here, and will also be sent out in an email prior to the event. Please contact northtexasyoga@gmail.com for any inquiries. There are no explicit requirements for players who would like to participate in this event. However, we do expect participants to have a full understanding of the WRC ruleset and a solid amount of in-person play experience. This event is meant to cultivate a serious competitive environment and to that end we would ask players to participate with that in mind. We are particularly interested in players who would like to participate in the WRC Pro program and have their results from this event carry over to future participation in that program. Purchasing this item is registering your entry for the event and your purchase is non-refundable after May 10th. Please be sure you can attend on May 23rd-24th and that you meet the requirements outlined in the Player Agreement.
