Vintage Ever Ready UK Aluminium Pocket Torch In Red And Chrome This Vintage Ever Ready UK Aluminium Pocket Torch In Red And Chrome was manufactured by Ever Ready, and dates to about the 1960s/70s based on a design from the early 1900s (see advert). It comprises a red and chrome body, made from aluminium, with a black and white plastic switch. Approximate Size Length: 11.5cm Torch Maximum Diameter: 3.3cm Untested but in pretty good cosmetic condition, with a few scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use. Screw off the top to change the battery / cell: originally an Ever Ready no.8 3v torch battery. Now obsolete, the ER no.8 can be replaced by a modern 2R10 battery: not included due to the issues with shipping. A nice addition to a collection !
