Big Sur - Elida Torre DRD Washed Gesha 070326

Big Sur is one of my personal favorite roasters I've worked with. They're based out of Shanghai and are a really great ultralight roaster. I loved all the coffees I had from my previous order, and they were one of the best regarded roasters I've released. Roast Profile: ultralight. They roast on a Loring and have a really unique profile for Loring roasts. Their coffees tend to be very fruit forward and are less delicate than some UL roasters I've brought on. Why did we bring this coffee on? We tried a lot of DRD from Lamastus last year and really loved them, especially the roasts from Big Sur. I find that they need a longer rest (we had some of our best cups at 4 months off roast), and they are pretty subtle, but really well defined florals and a nice lingering sweetness. I think Lamastus does some of the best DRDs in Panama Tasting notes: Rich Jasmine, citrus, orange, apricot
