Description SUPER DECALS SHEET FOR 4 VERSIONS – COLOR INSTRUCTIONS SHEET FIGURES NOT INCLUDED The General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark is a twin-engine supersonic fighter-bomber with variable-sweep wings. Produced from the late 1960s, it remained in service until the late 1990s, representing a significant technological leap compared to aircraft of its time due to the solutions adopted. The F-111 was capable of reaching speeds of Mach 2.5 and carrying a substantial offensive payload. The aircraft had a crew of two, seated side by side in a pressurized cockpit featuring an escape module for emergency ejection. The F-111 was used in several conflicts, including the Vietnam War, where it was employed for nighttime bombing missions and low-altitude attacks. Thanks to its sophisticated radar and terrain-following systems, it was able to fly close to the ground even in poor visibility conditions, avoiding enemy defenses.
