His impressed on metal I.D. tag is also present. Thomas Patrick Conlan from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan attestated on October 24, 1914 and served overseas in France, and spent 13 weeks on the Somme. He served with the 5th Field Artillery Brigade and was discharged on February 4, 1919. His son, 86555, Gunner Alfred Cecil Conlan who served overseas with the 17th Field Battery, CFA, and later with the 46th South Saskatchewan Battalion has his impressed on metal I.D. tag, pay book, discharge, and his signal school certificate present.
