Chromatic tension

Abstract painting built around the use of texture and layering. Contrasting colors are applied without premeditation, in direct dialogue with the medium. A cracked line structures the space and introduces tension into the gesture's temporality. The artwork takes shape in the moment, in the balance between mastery and letting go.
