Schiaparelli Necklace set with Art Glass Stones and Ice Blue Rhinestones

DETAILS This is an absolutely beautiful Schiaparelli Necklace and earring set from the 1950's. It comes from the collection of the well-known Monika Gottlieb. The necklace is in a silvertone setting and has five decorative elements each centred by a large egg-shaped dark blue art glass stone and each underlined by a row of ice blue rhinestones. The chain is made from smaller ice blue stones. A truly remarkable example of its kind. The earrings echo the necklace with a large egg-shaped stone surrounded by ice blue rhinestones. Totally sophisticated! The necklace is signed in script on the back of the central element, the earrings are each signed on the clip. Total length of the necklace is 16.5" (42cms), the central element is .1.5" long. Each earring measures 1.3" long (2.75cms). This perfect necklace is in excellent condition.
