Typewriters, featuring the company's distinctive horse-and-typewriter trademark flanked by three horse heads surrounding an illustration of an early L.C. Smith machine. The green field is accented with large cream and gold company lettering, bold red "Typewriters" text, and the slogan "Writing in Sight," promoting the firm's visible-writing typewriter technology. The decorative die-cut silhouette and richly detailed lithography reflect the highly ornamental advertising styles employed during the early twentieth century office equipment boom. Shows moderate to heavy wear consistent with age and display use including scratches, scattered paint loss, oxidation, edge wear, and surface discoloration.
