Testogel 1% Transdermal gel

Testogel 1% Transdermal gel- 60 dose pump A clear, odourless gel delivered by a metered dose pump (non-aerosol) with each actualtion of the pump delivering 12.5 mg testosterone. The usual starting dose is 4 actuations daily (50 mg tesosterone) – 2 actuations being delivered to each side. The gel is also available in sachets, each containing 50 mg of testosterone in 5 grams of gel – apply one sachet each day. Sachets are not used very much these days as the pump formulation is much more convenient. In Australia, Testogel is available on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), but only for patients with a documented pituitary or testicular diagnosis. To qualify for PBS funded Testogel, the patient must be under the care of an endocrinologist or a urologist.
