From The Official Website Merser Double Barrel Rum is a smooth, distinctive aged rum, bringing together the finest Caribbean rums aged up to 12 years from Barbados, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Harmonised and rested for 6 months in London, it is sophisticated, complex and surprisingly dry. On the nose, you will find an alluring vanilla sweetness with flashes of vibrant tropical fruit and a wonderful toasty oak character. The palate is mouth-coating, warming and generous with soft notes of vanilla, more of that tropical fruit and some wine-like notes created through the cask maturation process. Toasty oak returns on the finish alongside sweet vanilla and hints of pastry cream.
