We do the retrofit work in-house: open your housings, modify the reflectors, fit the projectors and Mini Gatling Gun shrouds, then re-seal and ship them ready to plug in. Each housing holds two LED projectors — four in total — for roughly double the usable output of a standard single-projector retrofit. Updated to the latest LED projectors with no warm-up, no expensive bulbs, longer service life and a sharper beam cutoff than the older HID generation. Made for the 3rd Gen 4Runner (1996–2002) headlight housings. The 1999–2002 Hilux Surf facelift shares these housings, so they'll fit late-99-onwards Surfs — verify against your existing headlights before ordering. The pre-facelift 96–98 Surf housing is different. Plug-and-play, really? Yes — they run off your factory high/low beam wiring, no relay harness required for standard installs.
