Gin and Clay with Fig Tree Studio, Saturday 1st August, 4pm

Gin and Clay — Emerald Green Wall Art Workshop 4pm–6:30pm A fabulous and fun workshop that combines creativity and gin tasting for a unique experience. Create a stunning piece of wall art using hand drawn templates and decorate with impressed flower, heart and leaf sprigs, fabrics and more. Around 5 weeks after the class these will be fired and glazed using a brilliant deep emerald green glaze, creating a gorgeous art piece to hang in your home or gift to another. Alongside that, sip 3 delicious gin samples from The Bond Store distillery where we will be working. Working with clay is good for the soul! Immersing in a gentle creative activity helps to switch off a busy mind, and making these is fun, relaxing and achievable even if this is your first time using clay. For this class you are invited to make either one large wall piece or two smaller wall pieces, with the option of creating extra pieces for an additional fee. All materials are provided.
