Summer Bag Crochet-Along

Bring your hooks and beat the heat! Join Vicki and other crochet lovers and crochet along on this cute & cool summer bag. We'll also include a goodie bag for you! Please Note: This is not a class, but we'll be there for help, emotional support, and conversation as you work! Crochet experience is required. When: Takes place over three Fridays: June 12th, 4-6 pm June 26th, 4-6 pm July 10th, 4-6 pm Required Materials (not included): Pattern: FREE Swirling Bag crochet pattern by Kathy Merrick (don't forget the errata). Available in store or from Ravelry here. Yarn: about 500 yards of sport, DK, or worsted weight yarn. We suggest 100% cotton or a yarn with a high cotton or linen content. Hook: US E-G (3.25-4.00 mm) or hook size appropriate for your chosen yarn weight. Notions: Stitch marker, scissors, tapestry needle We used Cascade Noble Cotton (DK) for the green & blue sample and the multicolor sample was crocheted in Coastal Cotton (fingering) Required Skills: Basic crochet stitches Reading a pattern Seaming Changing colors Crochet in-the-round We offer 10% off any supplies purchased at our store for the crochet-along! Fine Print: Ages 14 & up. Some crochet experience is required for this group; you will not be learning to crochet. Crochet-alongs are offered in-person and are limited to a small number of participants. If you choose to cancel, you will receive a refund up to 48 hours prior to the beginning of the crochet-along.
