The system combines the proven DWA1100 wireless alignment platform with four portable wheel stands, allowing alignment service to be performed on a two-post lift in virtually any work bay. The portable stands include integrated turn plates on all four stands and are designed to accommodate vehicles with independent four-wheel suspension as well as long-wheelbase light trucks. With a total stand capacity of 10,000 lb., or 2,500 lb. per stand, the CWAS package is well suited for independent repair shops, collision centers, low-volume alignment departments, and facilities that need a flexible backup alignment system. The DWA1100 alignment system uses lightweight wireless CCD measuring heads, lithium batteries, and MEMS accelerometers to provide quick and accurate alignment measurements.
