エディンバラを拠点とするグラフィックデザイナー/イラストレーター/アニメーター。ドローイングやインターネット上で見つけたイメージ、自身の写真を素材に、アナログとデジタルの手法を織り交ぜて制作する。英国で古くから子どもに言い聞かせる戒め――「風向きが変わると、その顔のまま戻らなくなるよ」。古い新聞漫画から抜け出したような巻き毛のキャラクターが縦の格子を握りしめ、傍らには小さなネズミ。その下には飾り文字で「if the wind changes ...」とだけ組まれ、結末はあえて言わない。誰もが知っているからだ。見出しに掲げられるのは架空のレーベル「JAPON IDEES」。ZINEのようなDIYの手触りと、とぼけたユーモア。An old British warning to children: "if the wind changes, your face will stay like that." A curly-haired character straight out of a vintage newspaper strip grips the bars, a small mouse at his side; below, ornate lettering reads only "if the wind changes ..." — the ending left unsaid, because everyone knows it. Overhead runs the masthead of a fictional imprint, JAPON IDEES.
