Textiles Club: 8th Sept - 20th Oct 2026 Seven Tuesday after school sessions: 3:25- 4:30pm Six days for Year 6 (due to students residential trip)) 10 places for Year 5/6 only at Minchinhampton Primary Academy Over the seven weeks we'll explore how felt is made from raw wool, explore its properties and go on to create surfaces/sculptures using the techniques learnt in the course. The club is suitable for children who enjoy making things and exploring new techniques. Learn and develop felting techniques and embroidery skills over a number of sessions to create mixed media pieces. Explore the theme of nature to create finished personal pieces to take home.
