Asparagus officinalis
Hardy herbaceous perennial with attractive mid green feathery foliage, golden yellow in autumn. Tiny white flowers in June followed by red berries. Up to 1.5m tall. Sun and well drained soil. Edible spears early followed by excellent ornamental foliage.
